Acapulco
12:00pm - 1:00am

Posted by Cliff (cruise4ever): Be sure to take a tour (negotiate your price before going) which includes the Cliff Divers, The alcapulco Princess & other newer hotels. Ask the driver to take you to the Indian Flea Market. This is where you can buy some neat hand made indian things which are great. We bought a lot of straw bells for Christmas decorations. Far better than the regular flea market where it is the same old stuff. Forget going to the fort. It is a waste of time.

When at the cliff divers have lunch & A Beer in the hotel over looking the divers. You will be in shade.

Rosie's tour is a good one. We have arranged a tour with Rosie to start at 1:30PM on Jan 20th Alcapulco time. That will give us time to have lunch & then take the tour . So far there is another couple & ourselves; which is 4. Rosie's Van holds up to 13 & the price per person declines as there are more people. If you wish to go on Rosie's tour then please e-mail me at creulein4233@roadrunner.com & tell me how many in your party. I will then tell you how to contact Rosie to join in on the tour.

Information Concerning Acapulco Tour from Roberto

Ok, there is a new place that opened up a few months ago; "Mojito" club, a Cuban live band with, recorded music from 8pm and then the band starts playing at 11pm till you have to say Adios. We recently went with a few friends that flew in from Manzanillo and we had an awesome time. Another great live salsa club is Mambo Cafe, but the band starts playing till midnight.

Since you will have a few hours to kill, before the band warms up; I recommend that you catch one of the evening dives at the cliff divers.

Or you can go to Paradise (1 block from Mojito) and dance with all of the ships crew that has made this place their local watering hole, another attraction os to watch the ship's staff jump from the bungy.

Sr Frogs is also a fun place where the waiters will dance, fun music,a lot of playing with the guests, conga lines, grease lightning bits and a breath taking view of the bay.

Regarding time zones, posted by Scotto97:

As far as the time goes, it will be 2 AM Alcapulco time when we leave port. The ship will change over to Mountain Time around Cabo and not go forward to Central Time that Alcapulco is on. That will leave us one hour behind them. So 2 AM their time will be 1 AM ship's time - plenty of time to go party if I can get Irene to drink enough Red Bull !!
