We are Gene and Susan Curry, living in Bacliff, Texas south of Houston along Galveston Bay. We both work at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston; Gene is an Engineering Specialist with Facilities Management and Susan is a Network Analyst for Internal Medicine.

We met at a dance club back in 1997 and have been together ever since. Today, dancing is a major activity. We belong to two Ballroom clubs and take lessons at a local community college. 

We've become hooked on cruising; especially cruising with friends we have met on Cruise Critic! We discovered CC before cruising on the Grand Princess in 2004. There, we met Linda (lindnet) and Rick and Sue (ricsue) and we have become fast friends. We now plan weekend visits and future trips together. Although we didn't actually cruise with Dirk and Robin (manymeadows) until 2006, we have chatted with them via CC since 2005 and this has resulted in a great friendship! Whether roaming the ship and ports or taking excursions together, cruising with friends really makes the experience that much more unique and fun!

Gene (aka Gentleman Gene) is known for his quick wit and seemingly endless amount of facts and information. He'd love to put together a trivia team for our cruise! Cooking and tropical gardening are his hobbies.

Susan is the webmaster for this web site. When she is not computing at work or spending time with her girls, she computes at home.
