Gene and Susan Curry
We are Gene and Susan Curry, living in Bacliff, Texas south of Houston along Galveston Bay. We both work at UTMB in Galveston; Gene is an Engineering Analyst with Facilities Management and Susan is a Network Analyst for Internal Medicine.
We met at The Hop, a rock & roll club, about nine years ago and have been together ever since. Today, ballroom dancing is a major activity. We belong to two dance clubs and take lessons at a local community college.
This is our fifth cruise together and our second on the Grand Princess. We are cruising with friends we met through a Cruise Critic thread for our first trip on the Grand; Linda (lindnet) and ricsue (Rick and Sue). Gene later arranged a Rhapsody pre cruise party for Linda, Rick and Sue in Dec. 2005 where we met fellow cruisers Dirk and Robin (manymeadows). We both enjoy shore excursions and adventures, Gene snorkels while Susan enjoys tropical sun on a beach.
Gene (aka Gentleman Gene) is known for his quick wit and seemingly endless amount of facts and information. He'd love to put together a trivia team for our cruise! Cooking and tropical gardening are his hobbies.
Susan (aka Supercomputergoddess) is the webmaster for this website. When she is not computing at work or spending time with her girls, she computes at home.
