Rick and Sue
-High School sweethearts married 35 years; we’ve been hanging out together for 37 years. Empty nesters. We reside in a lakeside community of Lake Ray Hubbard, in Rowlett, Texas, where our home has also been known as the Rowlett Bed & Breakfast, a sanctuary for displaced Rita victims, and host to the Lindnet’s 50th Birthday Party
-Cruise-addicted, this makes #15 on the cruise list with 2 more upcoming in 2007. This will be #3 on the Grand Princess. First GP cruise was out of Ft Lauderdale, #2 from Galveston where we met our friends Linda, Susan & Gene.
-What we love about cruising:
Meeting new people, making new friends, someone else is cooking, cleaning & picking up. We never tire of the Caribbean, we both find tranquility at the beach and being in and around the blue-turquoise waters. We love to snorkel wherever and whenever we can.
Where you will find us on-board the ship:
-By day: we both will be lounging by the pool, sipping a fav drink, hooked up to the MP-3 player, or listening to the Caribbean band.
-Excursions: Anywhere there is snorkeling, a nice beach, or out on a Catamaran. Rick likes to shop for liquor and jewelry; Sue does not enjoy shopping of any kind.
-By night: dining with friends, enjoying good food and wine, going to the shows, and then to the disco, until they start playing rap music, then we’re outta there! Rick may get involved in a game or two of Texas Hold’em at the casino. Sue will make her $20 contribution to the slots.
-What we do when not cruising:
Enjoying time with friends, good food and drinks, going out to listen to music. We are both competition skeet shooters, but have taken a break from serious competition over the past few years.
Rick is an entrepreneur, business owner; distributor for electronic payment services and electronic deposit imaging services.
Sue is an overworked Accounting Manager for a wholesale engine parts distributor.
